I was attending a prestigious Fine Arts College in St Paul, Minnesota, doing some part time modeling when the casting call came. This was the opportunity of a lifetime, to be in a big budget flick with Prince ‘himself’. I went with two of my modeling friends for the audition. We were just extras, so the audition involved dressing super cool, and showing the casting staff that we could look good in a club of all super cool fans. Of course, they took one look at us and said; ‘you’re in!’

It was an exciting few days, and in the weeks to come, I got invited to some wild celebrity parties that gave me, a newly divorced young woman fresh off the farm an unforgettable education. It was never my thing to do the drug scene though these parties opened my eyes to the use of hard drugs and how the body of a drug user breaks down, sweating and spinning out. I thought some of these celebrity guys would have a heart attack. Wild and a bit frightening to me, obviously someone’s version of fun(definitely not mine).

The celebrity mystique fascinated me. Through the years, I have appeared in seven films, None quite as big as Purple Rain, but each a rarefying experience. I worked with a Scottish producer/ director, Paul Barnett on a number of films. Burning Man, the Movie, was actually my idea. Unfortunately, not realizing I need a contract to secure my financial rewards from the movie, I happily supplied the ideas, and some of the crew, and was given screen credits, and even honorary acknowledgement from the director at the cast party saying to me this movie would never have happened if not for you. Yet when pay day came and went with no remunerations, I realized I had to grow up and if I were going to play ball with the big boys I would also need to educate myself on contracts and deal making.

One of the films I worked on put me with actress Tilda Switmen. I was a healer and masseuse even back then: I gave her a soothing massage after many crazy long days of filming. She was a mother of two twin boys who were toddlers back home. Tilda was a classy woman and a true professional; I have always admired her work.

In recent years, I have joined celebrities on the red carpet. My favorite of all my celebrity encounters, one I will cherish for a lifetime is with Sir Anthony Hopkins. I loved meeting Sean Astin around the time of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, He was a kind man, seemed to have a lot on his mind that day. I also met Jason Alexander of Seinfeld and Pretty Moman, and of course General (Glen) Morshower of Transformers. My all time favorite Celebrity friend, and just an all around dear and beautiful woman is Barbara Niven.

To be a celebrity or to hang out with celebrities is a fun and uplifting experience. There is a group mind agreement that celebrities have earned the status of cool, or even super cool, and by associating with them by osmosis you are also somehow super cool.

To be honest, I have never had a notion I was cool, or that it was important to be cool, yet, I, just like the rest of our culture love the fun of the red carpet. Hobnobbing with those considered rich and famous can be a super fun experience and a memory of happiness that lasts a lifetime.

When amplifying a Garden of Eden Life, it is important to include awesome moments, that will fuel you and fill your emotional tanks, these memories and photos have given me great pleasure and a feeling of elation, when brought to mind again. Use your extreme happy moments can be used to fuel your intentions for a rich and blissful future.

Being 100% healthy includes being 100% happy and feeling 100% abundant. What are your happy external moments? Having a good balance of loving and precious family and friend memories with outer world happiness, wither attending a gala or symphony performance or meeting celebrities on the red carpet or on the movie set, these are building blocks for your happy healthy life!

The purpose of life is to magnify the Divine. You are to bring your being into alignment with truth and become the presence and light of God incarnate. The journey you embark on along the way is a process of waking up to your Divine nature.  As you move towards this ascension you align Body, Mind, Emotions and Spirit with truth.

What is the purpose of pain?

The purpose of all pain, suffering and disharmony is the impetus to cause a shift in your reality and help you awaken to the truth.  Humans tend to need the profound problems and difficult extremes to actually have enough energy and momentum to create a shift in their reality. Think back and remember how many times in your life did something have to get so bad that you said; ‘enough is enough’ and made a real shift in your life. You may have thought to yourself, ‘No one should live this way, or no one should have to suffer this much’.  How did you come to that conclusion?

We actually know that we are meant to live in paradise. This innate awareness is part of our human programing. However we live in a state of unawareness and unconsciousness most of our waking hours. When things get so bad we return to our quest of discovering who we are and what our purpose is. The experience of pain and suffering gives us a glimpse into our Divinity if we are among the lucky ones who know to look for this blessing.

Wealth, Pain and the Garden of Eden

While we are on this journey we have a blessed opportunity to live in the Garden of Eden, or some lower version of that. Some people are actually living in a kind of hell on earth, unable to enjoy the blessings of a wealthy life.

Does being wealthy have to do with being and doing or is there something beyond this that allows for great riches?

What I have discovered is there are a number of external circumstances that are easily cleared that do prevent the full expression of wealth. Some people have a serious blockage to wealth and abundance in their cellular body and their DNA. Imagine you are the memory bank of information for generations past both on your mothers and fathers side for the awareness and skills they accomplished in the area of money.

I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Mike Warren. He is a man with a plan who had some great advice to share with an audience of appreciative female entrepreneurs.  Later, we chatted in the hall of riches to get some personal advice about how to take my business to the next level.

Mike buys businesses. What get’s your business to a place where a man like Mike would be making an offer to purchase has a lot to do with capital. How much you have access to and how well you invest it in R&D, product development, marketing and PR.

How to Get Access to 200,000-400,000

There are two key ingredients to make  the investment capital and the money picture work. First, never personally guarantee the business capital.  Second, never personally qualify for the capital.  What this means is you are not getting credit or loans as a person, you are getting them for your corporation. The loans or investors capital is run through the corporation.

He recommended his book ‘Guerilla Credit’.

5 Golden Rules for Business Capital

1. Don’t walk into a bank. This is not where the credit and money flows for your investment money.

2. Pay no personal taxes for the capital.

3. No personal financials, i.e. your taxes and credit report

4. No personal guarantees. This is a business loan and does not affect your personal property

5. No personal credit checks on your credit record

Getting Compliant 

To get compliant you will want to take action at the right time. Below is a list of some of the items you will need to do to meet the criteria of the investors. He mentioned that TV show Shark Tank is a great example of this process. When folks show up without there homework done they do not get funded.

The key ingredient to getting compliant is having established business credit.

He suggested a number of places to do this, for example Stapes, Office Max, Apple, Dell and any virtually supplier who provides you materials. Of course establishing credit means using the credit and timely payback.

There are five main ingredients to getting your dream business funded payment. I’ve included the percentage of importance so you can put the puzzle together for yourself and your business.

1. Credit history 35%

2. Amount your corporation owes 30%

3. Length of your business credit history15%

4. Types of credit used 10%

          5. New credit 10%

You must put all business assets into the business.

In other words, your computer, and printer, desks and business property is an asset of the corporation.

These are just a few of his capital insights for building wealth and a profitable business.

The nuts and bolts of business take study and perseverance. Getting compliant is an important step to bringing in the capital needed for a launch and marketing a campaign. He suggested a 10-12 month time frame for getting you ducks in a row and getting compliant.

Julie Renee Doering: Life is a Glorious Dance

Have you ever heard retirement community ‘seniors’ having the conversation of, “being in God’s waiting room”? They go there to hang out and get ready to move out of their bodies. If a husband passes, a few weeks later the wife will pass, and before you know it her best friend has also made her transition. There is no sense of future or vitality or joy, just a certain ending.

Just yesterday, Jenny told me of someone who received the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer a few weeks back, and had already passed. Jenny said her friend just gave up, hopeless and without mission or purpose, just let the body die. Depression prevents you for overcoming health obstacles and restoring health.

I am aware that pancreatic cancer is the worst of the worst when it comes to life threatening diseases. However the apathy and the willingness to let go is a sign of this global depression.

When facing death I have firmly called upon my strong will and desire to fulfill my legacy with humanity to survive the many brushes with death. My sense of purpose at first was fueled by the desire to see my children grow up. I had a sense of something more to live for even though I didn’t yet have it formulated.

It was in an EST meeting (now called the Landmark Forum) that the concept of living a hundred and fifty years was introduced into my consciousness. We did an exercise where we imagined, with focus and intention, what we could do to create change in the world.

The first ideas we wrote in our journal were in response to the following question:
“In the next year with, focused concentration, what could you do to effect change in the world?”
“What if you had 2 years?”
“5 Years?”
“10 years?”
“25 years?”
“50 years?”
“75 years?”

I saw myself helping blast apart the global depression and shifting the notion that there’s not enough time to make a change, so why try? I saw myself creating bigger and bigger legacies to create and live into.

Finally they asked us to imagine, “You now have one hundred and fifty years to leave your legacy. With focus and intention what could you do to create change in the world?”

I knew instantly that for me it was about global depression being completely banished. I saw myself living large with my intentions, creating huge pictures of contribution and global change for good.”

This experience was an opening for me to break out of the unconscious trance that had affected me my whole life. What was interesting was, I didn’t even know it was there. It just was. Everyone was thinking the same thing. We thought that life was short and we would not have enough time to really make a difference. I too saw that, until I woke up. All of the sudden it was no longer my reality, just a lie that I had been lulled into.

Are you ready to wake up with me? What could you do if you knew you had another hundred and fifty years, with focus and concentration, to make the world a better place?

Here are a few ways you can address this global depression:

• Plan not to retire from life until you are 500 – 600 years old.  This means in essence, continue to be alive and a contributor to life and the world. Retiring is this way of stepping away from activity to rest. To retire from dinner is to leave the meal and go to rest. But with regular retirement there is no returning to life. Have purpose and meaning in every day here on earth.
• Live a life of contribution and gratitude. When you are busy appreciating all the wonder and magnificence in this life and on this Garden of Eden planet, you are aligning yourself with the highest expression a human can experience. Please don’t be fooled into thinking you are there when you are using your problems and dramas over and over again to prove that you can turn lemons into lemonade. Stop the drama wheel now. Step away from relationships and experiences that drop you down to the battles of the lower emotional world.

I know a gal who has endless battles with infinite problems. She keeps them brewing on a back burner, telling people about them over and over again. She would benefit from using self-discipline and learning how to meditate properly for overcoming depression.

Sometimes you’ve just got to kick up your heels and celebrate all you have now!

Listen to me, if you are like her, this will not raise your energy vibe. It is more like a gambler shooting craps with a hopeful wish that something go

od might come from the muddle of life, and hey, once in a while it does.

Awaken grateful for your good health and your good home and the people in your life who love you and play with you. Even if you feel like some of this is a stretch, do it anyway. If you are alive, even if you are very sick you have something to be grateful for.

• Learn from the masters and continue to create new dreams to fulfill. Boredom with life is most assuredly inviting the Grim Reaper to take your life and vibrancy.
• Create plans that are tangible. Forget the ‘pie in the sky’ dreams for now. I want you to be able to understand how you will get from here to there, and by working backwards from the future dream fulfilled to the present day, you will uncover your path to greatness.

When I lead my Accelerate Wealth from the Inside Out program during the first few days, I often notice that my students are working pie in the sky dreams. As I did my ‘hour of power’ walking around the Frank Lloyd Wright designed lake in my neighborhood, I was so taken by the ducks enjoying the winter weather our Pacific water way provides.

Birds have so much to teach us. It is no accident that the phrase “I’ve got all my ducks in a row’ is said when a person feels a sense of accomplishment and is ready for good things to come. If you have ever observed ducks you know that they are systematized and function well as a team.

Steps to getting your ducks in a row

Step 1 Take inventory of all unfinished items you have on your agenda to complete.

Honestly write down each and every incomplete project. This is vital. You need to notice how much you have started and if you have over-committed your energy to too many projects. If you are over extended and under funded with energy and enthusiasm, you will fail in all endeavors. This being the case, pick the three items to put your attention on and bring to completion and remove all other items to a ‘not now’ file.

Step 2: With your three priority projects, stand in the future imagining this project has come to completion and has been wildly successful.

Balance Your Life Now

Now trace back from the successful completion to present time and identify all the steps you will need to include in your ducks in a row plan. You can include, I don’t know all the steps and plan to get training to fill in the gaps. It is important to include in your plan how you will keep life in balance. In this way you will arrive at your destination happy and feeling good in your body.

Mocking up an intention is only part of the equation for becoming wonderfully successful.  In Christian mysticism there is a verse about the mystery of creation.  ’If they ask for the sign of the one who sent your answer, it is a movement and a rest.  For the Lord did everything in a mystery’.        

Creation, in this spiritual form, requires both movement and rest.  Movement is the outer activity that supports the mystical changes in your energetic space. There are Yogis who sit half naked meditating in their private caves high in the Himalayas. Then, there are Spiritual Masters like Krishna, Jesus and Buddha who lived in the world.  For them, meditation and prayer were a vital part of their Juju and the miraculous creative powers they wielded while living on the planet.

These teachers were also in action. The actions they took were a necessary part of manifesting their works.  Their teachings were able to powerfully permeate our world.  Had they stayed in a cave meditating and praying they would still have been wonderful holy beings of light, but they would not have been known to the world.  Their actions allowed us to share in their spiritual riches. We know them by the tales of their lives and the abundant streams of wisdom and blessings they left behind as their legacies to benefit all humanity.

Success for one person may be entirely different than for another.  My measure of success and prosperity may be unrelated to your markers for accomplishment.  You are the only one who can set the bar for what it is to live your successful life.

What does it mean to be female leader today? I recently was awarded the Powerful Women Internationals Leadership award.  PWI lead by Valeri Bocage is a wonderful organization focusing on helping women develop leadership qualities. There are so many things to understand and comprehend as we women step up with our brothers. Our men have held leadership roles for the past 2,000 years. As we are leaving the patriarchal era and moving into the age of equality and shared leadership, it opens the doors for women leaders to soar.

As I was meditating this morning, I moved from my Miraculous Living Wealth meditation for beginners to an exciting and illuminating visionary insight.  I was seeing myself on a sailboat. I was on the boat in control of the ruder and the sails. Despite of my position of control, I had not really owned the ship for myself and was bobbing to and fro as the winds of aggression and jealousy were taking charge of the sails and my emotions.

I then had the awareness I could use the rudder and the sails to take advantage of the hot winds blowing my direction or I could drop my sails, ignite the motor, and putter to friendlier shores.  This could give me the answers of how to movee from  exhaustion to increasing energy. When I think of the vision, it reminded me of the choice given in the book The Road Less Traveled. Although both choices would alleviate the blunder driven boat, one choice would ultimately prepare me for the leadership role I was aspiring to raise up to and claim.

By managing the direction of the boat and using the winds of adversity for the benefit of movement forward those winds would no longer hold the power to blow me around. I would learn how to increase energy and vitality. These winds would be the gust in my sails propelling me to do great works at rapid speed.

To lead is to be the captain of a great ship. The leader must command respect and stay the course when passing through troubles seas.

You may be a stay at home mother, an up and coming entrepreneur or a retiring grandmother. Each is given the opportunity for greatness and the opportunity to lead your tribe. It’s never too late to learn the qualities of a great leader and begin practicing them.

I love reviewing the 21 Day Accelerate Wealth Acceleration Program. I am using the program as a fabulous jumpstart to the new year. The new ground is Contribution, Vitality and Power! These three energies emerge and become my new context for relating, leading and ‘Being’.  The shift allows me the opportunity to lead from generosity as a contributor and provides a new opportunity of vibrancy and strength.

As I wore unconditional love, I discovered I would be a sympathetic listener, but at times rather then deliver the coaching that was needed for a break through, I would hold back a reassure the individual they were ‘fine’. This method of listening and reassuring was a helpful coping strategy yet did not bring the shift that was so needed. I noticed my coaching this week on my student calls came from a new place inside me, a place of power, strength and contribution. Having a strong intention to be a powerful blessing in the world I can go deeper into my role as a leader. This was truly a week of breakthroughs for my students and myself as I stepped it up and owned leadership n a new way.

Another shift that has now become possible for me with this new way of being is in my in my re-creation of my physical self. I have done well with my health, given my traumatic background. Yet I have always attempted to heal myself, get myself up in a particular area, for example to improve function in the lungs, or heart to over 70%. As I have been in meditation daily creating my future, I am seeing my health at 100% all over. I am doing both focused healings and overall healing on my entire body experience. In just a few short days my health and vitality has jumped 6%. My intention is to experience 2013 as the best year of my life and with this new approach I am going for a 100% overall health experience. This is a powerful and exciting shift.

As I am the CEO of Miraculous Living and wear many hats as the work goes out into the world.  I have struggled with work-life balance. Often the amount of energy required to teach and travel and fulfill writing and healing commitments has been lacking. To create a context which includes vitality and power has me ‘Being’ uniquely different, living from vitality. I can viscerally feel the shift as my energy increases and what I am creating jumps to the Best Year Ever experience.

Ask yourself from what context will your dreams come through?

Sometimes life asked us to put aside a path we have walked for years in order to make room for a new awakening and a whole new way of being. If you are in this period, it is a time of termination followed by new beginnings.

Positive change and growth require a dying off or a descent into the darkness and will often present a time of challenges and obstacles.  During this period, it is best to wait on the ‘will of God’ and not resist what is in front of you even if your instincts are to fight or struggle to hold tight to what you once had.

This period of time is ripe with break down. If you have been flowing along, it may feel like someone else has put the brakes on.

If you are in this phase, realize that this is not punishment. It actually represents your excellent movement and need to grow to the next energetic level. Relax, breath and surrender to the breakdown.

Serenity is Possible

Serenity is possible during this time as long as you are not struggling against the change. You can choose not to grow, you can choose to hold onto the past, but why would you want to?
